There is a technical difficulty, but it is easily overcome. For example, if Candidate State, the Candidate object has no sensible value of Programme to pass to the Subject object (as it would now be obliged to do). As it happens, any value will do, because when the value finally reaches the Kernel object, it will ignore it.

Unfortunately, placing all kernel processing in the final object foregoes the opportunity to exploit pipelining, and all its predecessors are reduced to merely providing Get and Set methods.
